Chabaso Bakery is a locally known and loved institution. Atticus bookstore owner, Charles Nagaro, began baking artisan breads for the cafe in his downtown bookstore when he was unable to find anyone to bake the breads he had tried and loved in Europe. Eventually, the breads became so popular he opened the Chabaso Bakery at a separate location to handle the increased volume.
Chabaso breads are now sold throughout New England and the Tri-state area through small local grocery stores and some of the larger well-known chains, like Stop & Shop. Chabaso continues to see tremendous growth and is in the process of building a new bread factory in New Haven.
Susan Rubinsky Marketing Consulting launched a newly designed and developed site for Chabaso in the Spring of 2008. Various other internet projects are planned for 2008 and 2009, including lead generation and engagement programs for Chabaso and a new website for the Atticus Bookstore. |
